The aim of the internal comms is to ready your local groups and active members for the Heat Strike. In all public facing comms we will until the hottest day (or the eve of) to launch, but we want to talk to members about the Heat Strike plan, give them time to prep for the distributed actions and give them the date for The Picket Line (mass action) in London as soon as possible.

With June temperatures already breaking records, and global heating intensifying year on year, records could be broken again this summer.
But as we all struggle with the effects of the climate emergency, the UK government is still breaking all of their Net Zero target.
It’s time the UK went on strike. HEAT STRIKE.
Let’s strike while it’s hot and turn up the heat on politicians who have caused this crisis. [Your org name] are part of a coalition of groups ready to respond when the hottest day strikes for a mass action the Saturday after the hottest day. Will you be a part of it?
